How We Engage
Technical Project Consulting
We are not your typical consultancy firm that spends endless billable hours developing non-practical solutions. We thrive in complex environments driving results where most firms end with strategy. We focus on rapidly developing actionable plans that enable us to deliver cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure automation. We provide clients with subject matter expertise, consultation, project leadership, and facilitation governed by the BreakFree Delivery Framework™.
BreakFree Special Ops
Our technical teams are focused on helping you attack your key initiatives and fill the major skill-set gaps. Our operators can engage in a variety of models including transition support, team augmentation, and managed services. We collaborate and assist clients with transitional support as they shift to new operating models. We provide high velocity subject matter experts who directly augment client teams. We deliver comprehensive and specialized managed service packages for DevOps, cloud, and automation.
What to Expect
Agile Delivery Model
The BreakFree Delivery Framework™ is a fully integrated operating model built for BreakFree’s DevOps, cloud, and automation projects. We combine custom Agile visioning and planning initiatives, integrated Agile work and code management systems, and Agile Scrum delivery management. We provide reliable up-front timeline and cost projections and on-going flexibility and transparency enabled by Agile Scrum-driven delivery.
Prescriptive Solutions
We hold candid relationships with our clients. We establish strong orientations on critical decision points, and we know it’s essential to our success. Our extensive experience automating IT infrastructure, migrating applications to cloud-native architectures, and instituting DevOps operation models enables us to establish and communicate clearly defined positions on technologies, delivery approaches, and work prioritization.
Collaborative Workshops
BreakFree’s facilitated workshops are the foundation of every major engagement. With over 30 years of experience, BreakFree leadership has perfected the form and function of these workshops. We create an inclusive and collaborative environment where we can share our positions and receive candid feedback. We guide our clients through the building process establishing project-specific approaches, work prioritization, timelines, and project governance models.
Vendor Independent
BreakFree is not agnostic. We realize there are superior technology building blocks that enable our clients to transform their IT operating models. We work to align our delivery capabilities and vendor relationships with what we know to be the best solutions. We don’t develop substantial reselling agreements or allow any organization to have exclusive rights to our solutions catalog. This focus on vendor independence differentiates us from the majority of our competition whose vendor relationships compromise their ability to make non-influenced recommendations.
We align with enablers.

Our experts share their expertise, experience, and knowledge through blogs, insight reports, and much more.

As the original scrum guide points out, there are a few key components to “doing scrum right” – sprints, backlogs, and product owners. Teams work collaboratively on tasks from the product backlog, which is a list of everything that needs to get done. Each...

Not all infrastructure automation projects are created equal. The spectrum ranges from simple AWS and Azure software-defined data center automations to the extremely complex automation of on-premises applications, which were not even designed to be...
